Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Emerson Governor Products and Services

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to procure Emerson governor products and services on a Sole Source basis from Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions, Inc. The products and services are necessary to support the hydroelectric operating projects of the Walla Walla, Seattle, Portland, and Omaha Districts, which require custom pump gears, custom unloaders, programmable logic controller (PLC) software, and bearing packs, as well as onsite commissioning, programming, training, and troubleshooting services. • The existing governors were designed and installed by American Governor Company (AGC), which was acquired by Emerson in 2020. • The notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capability in writing to the contact email.
