Description
The United States Navy, through the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), is seeking proposals to lease emergency diesel generators (EDGs) ranging from 250 kW to 1,000 kW. The contract will cover delivery, 24/7 service, rapid assessment (4 hr), repair/replacement (48 hr), fuel capacity, EPA emissions compliance, and all associated logistics for a five‑year period (Nov 2026 – Nov 2031). Offerors may use their own inventory or subcontractors, but must retain single‑point responsibility. The primary delivery site is the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard; alternative Navy installations in Washington are also authorized. The solicitation follows FAR Part 12 (commercial items) and Part 15 (RFP) procedures.
