The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Secretary (OST), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), announces the availability of funding under Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Number OST/OSDBU-2026-SBTTAC-Region 3-FY2026-1 to establish and operate the Region 3 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC). The cooperative agreement is for one award for a 12 months base year with two option years, based on performance. The SBTTAC Program is designed to strengthen the capacity, competitiveness, and readiness of small businesses to compete for and perform on Federal, state, local, and private transportation contracts.
• The program will provide technical assistance and business development support to small businesses in the designated states.
• The recipient will be responsible for delivering measurable, outcome-driven services that include capital infusion assistance, individualized business counseling, structured training workshops, and outreach and stakeholder engagement.
• The program will also provide referrals to USDOT programs, including the National Bonding Education Program (BEP).
• The recipient will be required to track and report on program activities, outcomes, and performance metrics using a designated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
