26-040 Tree, Shrub and Plant Removal and Disposal on West Meyer Rd

The St. Charles County Highway Department is seeking bids for the removal and disposal of trees, shrubs, and plants along approximately 1.5 miles of West Meyer Road. The project includes clearing, removing, and disposing of vegetation within the limits of the right-of-way and easement areas, as well as incidentals such as traffic control, fence removal and replacement, and re-vegetation of disturbed earth. The project must be completed within 45 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued, with all trees, branches, and shrubs larger than three inches in diameter felled by March 31, 2026. • The project requires compliance with the St. Charles County Standard Specifications for Arterial Highway Construction, 2020. • The contractor must pay prevailing wages to all workmen performing work under this contract. • The contractor must provide a performance bond and payment and materials bond. • The contractor must comply with all provisions of Section 806 regarding temporary water pollution and the storm water pollution prevention plan. • The contractor must employ methods to avoid interruption or interference with other contractors' work.
