Description
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research for virtualization enterprise software solutions. The purpose of this RFI is to identify qualified sources capable of providing a standardized, enterprise-scalable virtualization software solution. The solution must include all associated software sustainment, upgrades, and technical support services under an enterprise-wide agreement within the next 12 months. The Government intends to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a five-year ordering period to procure products and services for the Department of War (DoW).
Key features of the required solution include:
• Core platform capabilities such as virtualization, disaster recovery, and application and data virtualization
• Management, analytics, and security features like cybersecurity, asset management, and network management
• Security and compliance features like DoW Impact Level 5 certification and two-factor authentication
• Operational use cases such as hypervisor-native hybrid cloud and workload mobility, zero trust architecture, and high-fidelity secure virtual desktops
• A comprehensive migration plan with a detailed timeline
• Training and continuous learning for technical staff and day-to-day operations teams
