Description
The U.S. Army Regional Contracting Office - Bavaria is seeking quotes for a heavy-duty diesel forklift, specifically the STILL RCD 180-900 or an equal model. The forklift must meet certain minimum specifications, including a diesel engine, twin super elastic front tires, and a telescopic clear-view mast with free lift. The proposed equipment must be delivered to the LRC, RSSA, Building 113, Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany by 30 September 2026.
The key requirements of the forklift include:

• A deluxe, height-adjustable, air-suspended, heated driver's seat with active climate control
• Automatic climate control, temperature selector switch, fan speed selector switch, and selector switch for ventilation nozzles
• An extended field of vision to the rear, enhanced safety, and an ergonomic posture
• A robust 1DIN truck radio and an interior rear view mirror
• 2 x dual axis hydraulic controls and an enhanced 7-inch LCD touch-screen display
• A seat belt monitor and a roof grid with an additional upper guard grille
• A labelling system in German and documentation in English
• Air extraction, air filter system, and aux electrical equipment
• Options for cold climates, including battery tray pre-heating and a reversing camera
