Description
The State of Vermont, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), is seeking bids for the provision of Employment Consultant services for each of the twelve (12) DVR offices statewide. The selected bidder will provide Employment Consultant services to DVR-eligible customers, including consultation, resume development, interview preparation, and job placement. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with a maximum value of $2,200,000.00 per contract year.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing Employment Consultant services to DVR-eligible customers
• Coordinating placement activities with DVR Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors
• Developing relationships with business organizations and identifying staffing needs
• Providing information and referral related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Assisting with job retention and providing retentions services for DVR candidates
