Well Pump Removal

The City of Mountain View is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform well pump and associated drop pipe removal at 939 San Rafael Avenue, Mountain View, California. The project involves removing the existing submersible well pump and all associated drop pipe from the well casing, performing removal in a controlled and safe manner, and furnishing a steel plate over the top of the well casing following removal of the pump and pipe. The contractor shall possess a valid California C-57 Well Drilling Contractor license and maintain all required licenses and permits for the duration of the contract. • The project requires the contractor to coordinate work with the City's Project Manager and maintain a clean, safe, and secure work site at all times. • The contractor must protect adjacent structures and improvements from damage during construction. • The project does not include asbestos-containing materials or lead-based materials. • The City intends to initiate the project as soon as possible following contract award.
