Concrete and Steel Street Light Poles

The City of Denton is seeking qualified vendors to supply steel, concrete, and aggregate street light poles for use by Denton Municipal Electric (DME) and the City of Denton. The scope of work includes the supply of various types of street light poles, including embedded and breakaway pole systems, mounting arms, and associated hardware. The vendor shall provide pricing for each pole type, as well as delivery and shipping costs. The evaluation criteria for proposals will include lead times and delivery, cost, and experience and qualifications. • The contract will be awarded based on best value, not solely lowest cost. • The vendor must have municipal/utility experience and provide references. • The vendor must comply with AASHTO standards and provide certification of compliance. • The City of Denton and Denton Municipal Electric reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and request clarifications or additional information.
