55--GOSP: PURCHASE LOCOMOTIVE FIREWOOD

The National Park Service is requesting the purchase and delivery of sixty tons of firewood for the Golden Spike National Historical Park. The firewood should meet the specifications outlined in the Statement of Work. The vendor should deliver the firewood in an end-dump trailer, and loose pieces are acceptable. The vendor should provide the tare and gross weight of the vehicle delivering the wood when requesting payment. The firewood does not need to be split, but it can be. • The firewood should be 2 to 3 feet in length and 6 to 24 inches in diameter. • The firewood can be delivered in straight logs cut to the specified length. • The vendor should provide the weight of the vehicle delivering the wood when requesting payment. • The purchase is for the Golden Spike National Historical Park's steam locomotive.
