Forensic Pathology Autopsy Services

The County of Orange is seeking a qualified forensic pathology firm to provide comprehensive autopsy and medicolegal death investigation services for the County’s Office of the Coroner. The contract will require board‑certified forensic pathologists who hold a valid California medical license, have at least ten years of post‑board experience, and can respond rapidly to death scenes, conduct full autopsies, prepare legally defensible reports, and testify in court as needed. Services must be performed within 80 miles of the Orange County Coroner’s Office and must remain independent of the Sheriff‑Coroner’s Office.
