Bid Syracuse Police Department, Harbor Brook Parking Lot Expansion, 1171 W. Fayette Street

The City of Syracuse is seeking bids for the expansion of the parking lot at the Syracuse Police Department, located at 1171 W. Fayette Street. The project involves constructing a parking lot extension to the rear of the new SPD parking lot. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to complete the work as prescribed by the specifications. The project must be substantially completed within 5 calendar weeks from the date of the Notice to Proceed or by August 7, 2026, whichever comes first. Some key requirements for bidders include: • Providing a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the total amount of the bid • Submitting a completed proposal form, including a NYSDOL Registry Certificate Number and a signed declaration of examination • Complying with the City's MWBE and EEO requirements, including submitting a MWBE/SDVB Plan and providing completed documents in the timelines outlined • Providing all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus, and other means of construction to complete the work • Furnishing all materials called for by the contract and specifications The City reserves the right to award this contract or to make no award or to rebid at a later date as determined by the Director of Management and Budget per applicable law.
