CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR VARIOUS CITY FACILITIES

The City of Riverside is seeking a qualified entity or individual to provide custodial services for various City facilities. The selected company will be required to provide complete custodial services, including daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks. The company must have at least five years of relevant experience in providing similar services and must meet all insurance requirements. The contract term will be from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028, with the option to extend for one additional two-year term. Key tasks and responsibilities include: • Daily custodial duties such as dusting, emptying trash, polishing windows, and cleaning restrooms • Weekly custodial services such as cleaning and dusting vending machines, buffing vinyl floors, and machine scrubbing unsealed ceramic tile • Bi-monthly custodial services such as polishing metal doorframes and kick plates, vacuuming upholstered furniture, and dusting blinds and window coverings • Monthly custodial services such as cleaning and machine polishing hard surface floors • Quarterly custodial services such as stripping, waxing, and machine polishing hard surface floors • Twice yearly custodial services such as cleaning interior and exterior windows and cleaning upholstered furniture • Thrice yearly custodial services such as thoroughly cleaning carpeted areas • Annually custodial services such as deep cleaning restrooms by steam cleaning grout on walls and floors The company must also comply with all litter and pollution laws and ensure that no debris, soil, silt, sand, bark, slash, sawdust, rubbish, cement, or concrete enters the City's storm drain system or local waterways.
