ON-CALL DOWNTOWN MALL PAVER REPAIRS

The City of Charlottesville is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors to repair the sand-based brick and granite paver system of the Downtown Mall on an on-call basis. The purpose of conducting repairs is to reduce trip hazards, prevent shifting, rotation, vertical drops, lifts, and to ensure cosmetic continuity of the Downtown Mall paver system. The scope of work includes repointing, resetting, and/or tuckpointing of brick pavers, granite pavers, and concrete tactile (ADA truncated dome) pavers. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment deemed necessary to complete the work. • Repointing, resetting, and/or tuckpointing of brick pavers • Repointing, resetting, and/or tuckpointing of granite pavers • Repointing, resetting, and/or tuckpointing of concrete tactile (ADA truncated dome) pavers • Providing necessary tools and equipment • Providing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) signage & barricades • Providing personal protective equipment (PPE) The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids.
