L-208 TCP REMOVAL PROJECT

The City of Bakersfield is seeking a qualified contractor to dismantle and remove the existing L‑208 Treatment‑Cell‑Plant (TCP) and replace it with new water‑treatment equipment. The work encompasses demolition of existing GAC vessels, civil site grading, installation of new granular activated carbon vessels, pumps, electrically‑actuated valves, a chlorine analyzer, electrical service upgrades, and full SCADA integration, followed by site restoration. • Demolition, removal, and proper disposal of existing treatment structures, tanks, and associated utilities. • Installation of new GAC vessels, pumping equipment, valve hardware, electrical panels, conduit, and instrumentation/control systems per City specifications. • Comprehensive civil work (earthwork, concrete foundations, pipe supports) and compliance with Cal‑OSHA, NFPA, and City standards, including a one‑year warranty on workmanship.
