Description
The project involves providing annual biosolid abatement services at the Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant in Savage, Maryland. The selected contractor will be responsible for cleaning biosolids and dust remediation of equipment, walls, floors, rafters, beams, ductwork, conduit, piping, lighting, and other elevated or adjacent structures. The contractor must provide trained and certified technicians to perform the work and comply with all applicable health and safety laws and regulations.
• The contractor must have at least five years of experience in environmental or industrial cleaning services.
• The contractor must provide equipment, personnel, materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to access and clean the loading area of two silos and associated equipment.
• The contractor must initiate, maintain, and supervise all safety precautions and programs in connection with the work.
• The contractor must perform all work Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, with special exceptions made on a case-by-case basis.
• The contractor must provide a comprehensive written summary report upon project completion, including photographic and written documentation of the work performed.
