Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for a third-party maintenance contract for the Philips MRI scanner in the MRI Section of the Operating Room within the NIH Clinical Center. The contract requires the vendor to provide maintenance support services, including OEM-defined preventive maintenance, parts and labor services, remote technical support, and an uptime guarantee. The proposed vendor, Imaging Service Solutions LLC, is the only source able to support the system as currently configured.
• The contract is for maintenance support services for the Philips MRI scanner.
• The vendor must provide OEM-defined preventive maintenance and parts and labor services.
• The vendor must provide remote technical support and an uptime guarantee.
• The contract is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements.
