Fiber Optic Lease at the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA) - Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract on a sole source basis with the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA) for a fiber optic lease. The lease will ensure TSA maintains fiber optic connectivity at MWAA. The requirements of the TSA Information Technology (IT)/End User Services Division (EUSD) will be addressed through this purchase order. The lease will be for a period of five years, consisting of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The TSA requires the lease of single-mode fiber (SMF) and associated fiber cross connections to support TSA communications connectivity requirements at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport. • The lease is for a period of five years. • The TSA requires single-mode fiber (SMF) and associated fiber cross connections. • The lease will support TSA communications connectivity requirements at two airports. • Interested sources may respond to this notice by submitting detailed technical capabilities and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the needs of the Government.
