The California Department of Transportation is seeking qualified small‑business contractors to replace concrete curbs, gutters, and drainage swales at the District 05 Office Building in San Luis Obispo. The work includes demolition of existing concrete and asphalt, site preparation, installation of new curb‑and‑gutter assemblies, asphalt paving, striping, and all associated traffic control, permitting, and safety compliance. The contract is limited to firms holding current C‑8 (Concrete) and C‑12 (Earthwork & Paving) licenses, with a maximum ceiling of $461,000 and a one‑year performance period.
• Demolition of ~300 ft of existing curb, ~750 sq ft of asphalt, and related concrete structures.
• Installation of new 6‑in. curb, 12‑in. gutter, v‑swale drainage, and 750 sq ft of asphalt pavement with proper grading and compaction.
