Description
The US Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a quotation for the design, supply, and delivery of a structural T6061 aluminum cover grating system with a solid aluminum cover and coated with non-slip epoxy. The project encompasses site measurements, fabrication drawings, fabrication, and delivery of grating panels with platforms constructed from structural T6061 aluminum. The grating system should have a design load of 150 pounds live load per square foot and be approved and stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Colorado. The scope of work includes:
• Measurement and determination of sizing for grating panels
• Fabrication and supply of grating panels with solid sheet metal covers
• Design to span the 41” trench opening with grating panels
• Application of non-slip epoxy coating on the surface of each aluminum cover
• Delivery of all grating covers to the site
The exclusion criteria include removal of existing steel grating, structural modifications to support grating, and repairs to underlying surfaces.
