Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $5,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is likely to be in the range of $1 million to $5 million per year, considering the scope of work and the requirement for the contractor to provide professional conservation services for the USS Monitor Collection. The collection includes over 5,000 individual artifacts, and the contractor will be responsible for the ongoing active and preventive conservation care of the collection. The contractor will also be required to provide facilities and workspace for the collection, conservation materials, and conservation personnel, which will add to the overall cost. However, the exact budget amount is not specified in the document, and this estimate is based on the complexity and scope of the project. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the experience and qualifications of the contractor, the cost of materials and equipment, and the level of expertise required to conserve the artifacts.
