Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope of work, which includes removing and replacing the main grated drain, cutting back the concrete, re-pouring, and applying sealant. The cost of materials and labor will depend on the complexity of the project and the contractor's experience. Assuming a moderate level of complexity and an experienced contractor, the budget could be in the range of $200,000 to $500,000. This estimate is based on the fact that the project involves a significant amount of concrete work, rebar, and mesh, which can be costly. Additionally, the contractor will need to ensure that the new concrete can support the weight of tandem axel dump or wheel loader weight, which may require specialized equipment and expertise.
