2026 Pedestrian Structure Inspections Request for Qualifications

The Town of Cary is seeking a qualified firm to provide pedestrian structure inspections and related services for a period of five years. The selected firm will be responsible for updating the inventory of pedestrian structures, performing inspections, prioritizing repairs, and providing recommendations for maintenance and repairs. The firm will also be required to provide hourly rates for their personnel and to work with the Town to integrate their findings into the Town's Asset Optics system. The project will involve inspecting a variety of pedestrian structures, including bridges, boardwalks, and stairs, and will require the firm to have experience with similar projects and to be familiar with the National Bridge Inspection Standards.
