Cumberland Communications Facility

The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) is seeking a master contractor to purchase and install a communications monopole tower and equipment shelter in Allegany County, Maryland. The project aims to augment the Maryland First Responder Radio System Team (MD FiRST) radio communication coverage in the area. The contractor will be responsible for constructing the tower, shelter, and related site development work, as well as installing the necessary equipment and materials. • The project requires the contractor to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. • The contractor must demonstrate proof of current Maryland Department of Environment Responsible Personnel Certification Number. • The project has a prevailing wage requirement, and the contractor must pay not less than the specific rates to all workers employed. • The contractor must also abide by the Living Wage requirements under Title 18, State Finance and Procurement Article, Annotated Code of Maryland. • The project has a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goal of 3%. • The contractor must submit monthly reports on MBE participation and compliance with reporting requirements.
