Eastside Treatment Plant UV Replacement

The City of Bremerton is seeking bids for the Eastside Treatment Plant UV Replacement project. The work includes demolition, removal of existing treatment equipment, installation of owner-furnished ultraviolet (UV) equipment, and modification of the existing concrete channel and related structures. The project must be completed in the summer dry season window while the plant is offline. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Relate Acts. • The project is funded, in part, by the Washington State Department of Ecology. • The proposed UV system and Motor Control Center (MCC) breakers have been pre-purchased by the Owner. • The pre-purchased equipment will be delivered to the WWTP at 2500 Stephenson Avenue, Bremerton, WA by end of May 2026. • The Contractor shall include provisions in their bid to transport and store such package and install the unit and associated work per contract documents. • Engineer's estimate range for this project is $2.3 - $2.8 million.
