Description
Murray State University seeks a qualified Employer‑of‑Record (EOR) provider to manage payroll, tax, benefits, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, and compliance for approximately 30 remote adjunct faculty members who will work from home in multiple U.S. states. The vendor must handle full onboarding/off‑boarding, background checks (criminal, SSN, sex‑offender registry, education verification), monthly payroll processing, and ensure all university policy acknowledgments and training verifications are captured. The contract will begin July 1 2024 and cover the Fall 2024 semester, with the potential for future expansions to other academic or non‑academic staff.
• Provide multi‑state EOR services (on‑boarding, payroll, tax, benefits, workers’ comp, UI) for adjunct faculty across at least 12 states.
• Conduct required pre‑employment screenings (no drug testing) and maintain compliance with each state’s employment laws.
• Deliver monthly payroll, integrate with university systems, and support a future mechanism for tracking university‑required training completion.
