Description
Yakima County is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive administration, record‑keeping, education, communication, and investment‑related services for its two 457(b) deferred‑compensation plans (Empower and Nationwide). The contract will cover all aspects of plan management, including participant education, online transaction capabilities, fee structuring, and potential consolidation of the two plans. Firms must have at least five years’ experience with governmental 457(b) plans and be the sole provider for three comparable plans with assets of $50 M each. The procurement process includes a question period (deadline Oct 8), proposal submission (deadline Oct 29), and finalist interviews (Dec 2). The contract term will be negotiated, with options of 5, 7, or 10 years.
