Description
Knox County is seeking bids for janitorial services for Head Start centers. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. The services will include daily, weekly, and bi-monthly cleaning duties for various centers, including classrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, offices, corridors, hallways, lobby, and common areas. The bidder must provide proof of financial and business capability, and comply with various requirements, including insurance, non-collusion, and conflict of interest.
• The bidder must provide a cost per center, per month, for the period of September to May.
• The bidder must provide proof of insurance, including workers' compensation, employers' liability, and commercial general liability.
• The bidder must comply with the terms and conditions of the bid, including the non-collusion affidavit and the affidavit of compliance with Tennessee criminal history records check.
• The bidder must provide a certificate of insurance, showing the required coverage and limits.
