Description
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a contractor to provide winter maintenance services for the Davison TSC and Clio Park & Ride locations. The services include snow removal, de-icing, and other related tasks. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are safe and clear of snow and ice. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year periods.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Snow removal services must be performed when icy/slippery conditions exist or snowfall accumulates up to a depth of 6 inches.
• The contractor must provide and spread salt and deicer materials.
• The contractor must respond within four hours of initial contact by the Program Manager or designee.
• The contractor must furnish all equipment and necessary supplies to provide snow and ice removal services.
• The contractor must provide a detailed list of all equipment to be used in the performance of Contract Activities.
