F103--Intent to Sole Source - Virginia Water Systems, Inc. Washington DC VAMC Base Plus 2 Option Year

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Virginia Water Systems, Inc. for the installation and preventative maintenance of a DI/RO system at the Washington DC VAMC. The contract will include the installation of various equipment and supplies, as well as maintenance services for a period of 12 months with two option years. The contractor must provide personnel with at least 2 years of experience in performing similar maintenance services. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the installation and maintenance services. • The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in a workmanlike manner and according to American Water Works Association (AWWA) standard practices. • The contractor must have a quality control program in place to ensure that all requirements of the contract are met. • The contractor must provide a list of all employees who will perform work under the contract, along with their full name and work assignment.
