Description
The purpose of this request for quotation is to purchase snow and ice control products for maintaining Yakima County roads and facilities during the 2025-2026 winter season. The products to be bid include corrosion-inhibited liquid magnesium chloride, corrosion-inhibited liquid calcium chloride, and various types of solid sodium chloride. Bidders may bid on any or all of the items, and Yakima County reserves the right to purchase products from the vendor of its choice based on availability and estimated total costs.
• The products must meet the specifications established by the Pacific Northwest Snowfighters (PNS) Association.
• Bidders may propose alternate locations for Yakima County to pick up the products.
• All bids or parts thereof may be rejected or accepted by Yakima County.
• The bid sheet must be sealed and marked "BID-SNOW AND ICE CONTROL PRODUCTS" and addressed to the Yakima County Engineer.
