Property and Casualty Insurance

South Texas College (STC) is seeking proposals for property and casualty insurance coverage. The contract may be renewed for two additional one-year periods by mutual agreement of the parties, reasonableness of cost, and each policy's renewal terms. The successful respondent will provide insurance coverage for STC, including property, boiler and machinery, crime, general liability, automobile, school board, cyber, and foreign liability, as well as workers' compensation coverage. Key aspects of the proposal include: • Providing a complete, legible specimen policy with all endorsements, forms, policy jackets, and examples of declaration pages • Meeting the qualifications outlined in the RFP, including being licensed to conduct fire and casualty insurance business in Texas for the last five years and producing a minimum annual gross property and casualty premiums of at least $3,000,000 for each of the past five years • Providing a description of the agency and resumes of the personnel who would be assigned to service STC • Including a Certificate of Errors and Omissions Coverage with a minimum limit of $2,000,000 annual aggregate with a maximum deductible of $50,000 • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Texas Public Information Act and the Texas Government Code
