Description
The Clio Area Schools Board of Education is seeking bids for the installation of emergency standby power generators for their freezers and coolers at multiple schools. The scope of work includes the installation of new electrical emergency standby systems, generator concrete pads, generators, automatic transfer switches, panelboards, and natural gas piping. The successful bidder will be responsible for completing the work by June 30, 2026.
• The project requires the installation of Division 23 - Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Division 26 - Electrical construction services.
• The bidder must provide a proposed time frame for work to be completed and provide three references for similar work done in the past.
• The bidder must also provide certificate of insurance, both liability and worker’s compensation, with sufficient coverage for any contingent liability.
• The successful bidder will be required to submit a schedule of work for approval and maintain the working area in a clean and safe manner.
