CITATION PROCESSING

The County of Kern is seeking a vendor to provide parking and administrative citation processing and payment services for the Sheriff's Department and Animal Control Services. The contract will be for an initial three-year term with the possibility of two one-year extensions. The vendor will be required to provide administrative and parking citation processing services as described in the bid documents. The County reserves the right to negotiate with the successful vendor to add additional services under the awarded agreement or Purchase Order as deemed necessary. • The vendor must complete the Best Value document (Exhibit A) and return it with their response. • The vendor must provide a W9 with their Tax ID and billing information before a County Purchase Order can be issued. • The County offers a Local Vendor Preference for local vendors within 5% of non-local vendors. • The vendor must comply with all applicable County, state, and federal laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. • The vendor must indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the County and its agents, board members, officials, officers, employees, volunteers, and authorized representatives from any losses, liabilities, charges, damages, claims, liens, causes of action, awards, judgments, costs, and expenses.
