Strand Burner Equipment

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD) is looking to procure a strand burner automation system and data acquisition system, as well as replacement strand burner heads. The contractor will be required to provide fabrication, delivery, and installation of the equipment, and will need to have thorough knowledge and understanding of the following areas: strand burner heads, 10,000 PSI remote valve rack, control console, installation and calibration of equipment, and training with equipment. Some key requirements of the project include: • Cloverleaf style strand burner heads with a 10,000 psi rating • A 10,000 PSI remote valve rack that can control DIT strand burners • A control console with a data acquisition system that can control and record test cell pressure and temperature • Installation and calibration of the equipment • Training with the equipment
