Description
The City of Trenton is seeking bids for a one-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year for belt filter press preventive maintenance at the Trenton Water Works, Mechanical Dewatering Facility. The contract includes quarterly inspections, emergency service, and parts and materials. Bidders must demonstrate experience with the operation and maintenance of belt filter presses and provide documentation of their experience. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Key aspects of the job include:
• Quarterly inspections and reports
• Emergency service with a 3-day response time and a 24-hour response time
• Furnishing and installing parts and materials, including chicanes and belts
• Providing a 24-hour emergency service telephone number
• Attending an annual meeting to review areas of concern and provide recommendations for corrective action
