Crane & Hoist Inspections

The Town of Killingly, Connecticut, is seeking sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide hoist and crane inspection, testing, maintenance review, and related compliance services for municipal facilities. The purpose of this contract is to ensure that all hoists, cranes, lifting devices, slings, hooks, chains, and associated lifting equipment are properly inspected, load tested where required, documented, and maintained in full compliance with applicable OSHA regulations, ASME standards, State of Connecticut requirements, and insurance carrier requirements. Key aspects of the job include: • Hoist and crane inspection and testing • Maintenance review and related compliance services • Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, ASME standards, and State of Connecticut requirements • Providing services for municipal facilities, including the Killingly Water Pollution Control Facility, pump stations, maintenance garages, and other Town-owned properties.
