To Provide Recreational Services and Activities at Glenfield Park, Montclair, New Jersey

The County of Essex is seeking a qualified vendor to operate and manage recreational services and activities at Glenfield Park in Montclair, NJ. The scope includes running concession stands, providing entertainment programming, and delivering a full suite of park‑based recreational activities for the community over a two‑year performance period. The contractor will be responsible for staffing, programming, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and customer service, ensuring a vibrant and well‑maintained park experience. • Operate food, gift and miscellaneous concessions within the park. • Design, schedule, and execute entertainment and recreational programs (sports leagues, classes, events). • Manage park facilities, equipment, staffing, and safety protocols. • Provide ongoing reporting and liaison with the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs. • Fulfill a two‑year contract term beginning March 1 2026 (with a continuation option into 2027).
