Loring Ice Arena Refrigeration System Repair

The City of Framingham is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide repairs and upgrades to the refrigeration system at Loring Ice Arena. The work includes glycol pump rebuilding, replacement of pressure relief valves, ammonia system piping modifications, replacement of isolation valves, ammonia evacuation and recharge services, welding, testing, and all associated labor, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals necessary to return the refrigeration system to safe and reliable operation. • The bid documents can be obtained electronically through the City of Framingham's Bidnet Direct portal. • A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Loring Arena. • Bids must be submitted electronically through the City's Bidnet Direct portal system. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities and technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
