Description
The City of Cumming, Georgia is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the design, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and erection of a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). The project includes all materials, labor, and services necessary to deliver a complete and functional structure, including foundation, insulation, doors, and drainage systems. The selected contractor shall provide a turnkey project including engineering and stamped drawings, permitting coordination, materials and fabrication, delivery, erection, and installation of insulation, doors, gutters, and downspouts.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Pre-engineered metal building with a width of 60 feet, length of 80 feet, and eave height of 20 feet
• Structural requirements include a pre-engineered steel building system, design compliance with the Georgia State Minimum Standard Building Code, and wind load and roof live load requirements
• Building components include a 26-gauge metal roof and wall system, insulation, and doors
• The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
