The City of Tacoma’s Environmental Services is seeking qualified contractors to upgrade the North End Treatment Plant’s trickling‑filter system. The $25 M project includes constructing a new filter structure, expanding the disinfection contact basin, upgrading mechanical and electrical equipment, and rehabilitating the solids‑holding tank. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. PT on 20 January 2026, with pre‑proposal site meetings offered on 19 December 2025 and 6 January 2026.
