Description
The municipality’s Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive grass‑cutting, routine field and park maintenance, and related turf‑care services for its facilities. The scope includes seeding, aeration, equipment transport, and adherence to specific fertilizer policies, while the Town supplies certain marking materials and the contractor supplies labor, equipment, and most supplies. A single performance bond of $20,000 is required, and the two functional parts of the RFP must be bid together.
• Grass cutting, mowing, and routine maintenance of all Parks & Recreation facilities.
• Seeding and aeration for facilities not covered by the earlier RFP 2015‑03.
• Contractor must transport equipment from three storage sites to field locations and provide all labor and equipment (except aerosol paint, which the Town supplies).
• Must follow organic fertilizer use at the middle‑school complex and allow conventional products at Gallup Hill School outside school hours.
• Single $20,000 performance/materials/labor bond required; bids for the two parts must be combined.
