Description
The Virginia Office of the Attorney General (OAG), through its Division of Risk Management (DRM), is issuing an RFP to secure qualified attorneys to advise and represent the OAG and its client agencies in medical malpractice claims. The selected counsel will be responsible for full case defense, including any appeals, and will coordinate with DRM under various risk‑management plans (VaRISK, VaRISK 2, and Commonwealth of Virginia Public Liability Risk Management Plan). This effort supports the state’s mandate to provide legal representation for plan participants and to manage litigation risk across state and local entities.
