Water For Injection (WFI) System Pump repair/replacement and Emergency Services

The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) and the Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences (AFRIMS) are seeking a contractor to conduct and support clinical studies on the safety and efficacy of radical cure therapies against relapsing malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax. The contractor will perform pre-study preparation, clinical study execution, and data analysis. The project is expected to be completed in four years, with three phases. The contractor will provide subject matter expertise in malaria pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics, and will analyze data from two clinical studies. • The contractor will perform pre-study preparation, including Institutional Review Board. • The contractor will execute the clinical studies, including recruitment, enrollment, drug administration, safety monitoring, and study reporting. • The contractor will analyze data from the two studies, including sample testing, clinical data analysis, results interpretation, and manuscript preparation. • The contractor will provide subject matter expertise in malaria research and laboratory support.
