RFP-Business Attraction Consultant

The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation is seeking a Business Attraction Consultant to provide direct and ongoing domestic business attraction support, including lead generation and strategic and targeted individual company outreach and engagement support. The selected consultant will work with the Corporation and the Partnership for Rhode Island to identify and engage with businesses that are potentially interested in relocating or expanding to Rhode Island. The scope of work includes tasks such as providing a list of attraction prospects, on-call engagement with the Corporation, and market positioning analysis. • The consultant will provide a "living" list of strong attraction prospects that is consistently available to the Corporation and Partnership and updated regularly. • The consultant will identify a main point of contact for the Corporation and will be present on-site at the Corporation's office for at least one week. • The consultant will provide a data-backed market position report detailing the specific competitive advantage of Rhode Island as well as data-informed, recommended search parameters that will yield the most success for business attraction efforts.
