Notification of 374 CONS Intent to Award a Single Source Purchase Order to MORITA CORPORATION

The U.S. Air Force intends to award a single source purchase order to Morita Corporation for the comprehensive annual certification of fire apparatuses. The contractor will perform inspections, testing, adjustments, repairs, and replacements as necessary to ensure full operational capability and safety compliance. The work will be performed in Japan, and the contractor must have valid licenses and a Japanese CAGE code. The services will include, but are not limited to, complete inspection, testing, adjustment, repair of minor deficiencies, replacement of component parts, re-paintings as required, repair of defect parts, replacing filter oil element and hydraulic oil for filter as necessary, cleaning, lubricating, and adjustment of the parts of the firefighting trucks attachment of the fire trucks. • The contractor must have a Japanese CAGE code. • The work will be performed in Japan. • The contractor must have valid licenses to meet the requirements in Japan. • The services will be performed in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1911, Chapter 22, and/or the Japanese safety standard by Japan Fire Equipment Inspection Institute.
