Description

The Army FUZE Contracting Center is seeking white papers for the JAILBREAK Needs-Driven Acquisition for Near-term Operations (NANO) - Accelerated Capability Event (ACE) II. The goal of this initiative is to break down traditional system-silos at the tactical edge, ensuring interoperability and rapid sensor-to-shooter data transfer in degraded, contested, and operational environments. The Army is looking for integrated mission capabilities that can deliver cohesive, end-to-end autonomous sensing and effector capabilities. These systems must extend ground sensing range, support swappable modularity, operate in degraded, disrupted, intermittently-connected, and limited (DDIL) environments, standardize open interfaces, and enable modern C2 integration. • The white paper submission should include a clear description of the proposed capability, its operational relevance, technical maturity, integration readiness, and delivery readiness. • The submission should also include a rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing construct that clearly identifies estimated costs for the prototype system and associated support. • The Army is particularly interested in prototype solutions that can be demonstrated in an operationally relevant environment and provide measurable mission utility. • The evaluation criteria will include operational value, technical approach, system of systems integration, execution feasibility, and live pitch requirements.

Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is likely to be in the range of $1 million to $10 million, based on the scope of the project and the requirements for prototype development and testing. The Army is seeking integrated mission capabilities that can deliver cohesive, end-to-end autonomous sensing and effector capabilities, which will likely require significant investment in research and development, testing, and evaluation. The rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing construct will provide more detailed information on the estimated costs for the prototype system and associated support. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the system, the level of autonomy required, the number of systems to be developed and tested, and the duration of the project.
