Lewis County - Three Tower Modifications

Lewis County is soliciting qualified vendors to upgrade three radio towers. The successful vendor will modify all three towers to meet specific requirements identified by engineers for the antenna configurations proposed. The modifications will bring each tower into compliance with required design standards. The proposal must include a detailed project approach, project schedule, cost proposal, team qualifications, references, and proof of licensing, bonding, and insurance. The county encourages the use of steel and iron products that are melted, poured, and fabricated in the United States. The contractor must adhere to all prevailing wage requirements and applicable building codes. • The three tower locations are: Cooks Hill, Baw Faw Peak, and Hopkins Hill. • The contractor must provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The contractor must pay the prevailing rate of wages to all workers, laborers, or mechanics employed in the performance of any part of the work. • The contractor must maintain all financial records and records relating to the performance of work under this agreement for 3 years after contract termination.
