Description
The State of Illinois, Department of Veteran Affairs, is seeking a vendor to provide emergency laundry services for the Quincy Veterans Home. The services include scheduled pickup and delivery of healthcare linens, sorting, inspection, and pre-treatment, high-temperature washing and sanitization, drying, ironing, and finishing, and linen inventory and par level management. The contract is for 90 days, and the estimated end date is 12/27/2025. The vendor should be able to begin service without delay and provide high-quality services to meet the healthcare hygiene standards.
• The vendor should have commercial-grade equipment and a trained workforce to handle high-volume linen processing efficiently.
• The vendor should have experience in providing institutional laundry services and be familiar with the demands of healthcare laundry services.
• The vendor should be able to provide chain-of-custody documentation for all pickups and deliveries.
• The vendor should comply with ANSI/AAMI and HLAC guidelines for healthcare laundry services.
