RFQ/RFP for a Construction Manager at Risk at the Sunset Zoo for the Lemur and Americas Exhibits.

The City of Manhattan is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Lemur and Americas Exhibits project at Sunset Zoo. The project includes a new lemur habitat, renovated Americas exhibit habitats, community/event gathering space, restrooms, infrastructure improvements, ADA-accessible pedestrian walkways, and associated site improvements. The CMAR will be responsible for providing construction management services for the project. Key features of the project include: • New lemur habitat with animal holding and public viewing areas • Renovated Americas exhibit habitats with animal holding and public viewing areas • Community/event gathering space and restrooms • Infrastructure improvements, including ADA-accessible pedestrian walkways and lighting • Associated site improvements, grading, and landscaping The City is seeking qualified firms to provide CMAR services for the project. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site tour will be held on April 27, 2026. Questions regarding the RFQ/RFP should be submitted in writing to Alfonso Leyva by April 30, 2026.
